A Tribute to Jon B. Higgins. Music Hall. 7 p.m. A benefit in honor of the late Jon B. Higgins (a specialist in South Indian music and a former director of the CFA), this lecture will feature noted a musicologist from India who will talk about the meaning of Navaratri. A showcase performance by students will follow at 8 p.m. Your contribution supports the Jon B. Higgins Memorial Fund. Benefit Tickets: $25.
